Welcome! I'm Karyna, and I'm grateful to have you here. As a holistic and adaptable counselor, I offer you a safe space to explore any challenges you may be facing, guided by deep compassion, understanding, and a non-judgmental approach.

I firmly believe that each healing journey is unique, which is why I employ a diverse range of techniques and methodologies tailored to your individual needs or those of your relationship. Together, we will create a personalised approach that suits you best, finding solutions that are right for you.

My passion for counselling is rooted in personal experiences of grief, loss, and confusion, as well as a diverse background of working with individuals from various walks of life, cultures, and backgrounds (I'm also LGBTIQ+ friendly).

Throughout my career, I have worked extensively across Australia, supporting marginalised and disengaged youth, individuals with severe and persistent mental illness, women and children affected by domestic violence, and men of all ages. I am particularly committed to making counselling accessible to those in remote and regional areas. I also currently provide specialist Domestic and Family Violence counselling for The Salvation Army, and provide EAP (employee assistance programs) as a Senior Telehealth Associate at Converge International.

Regular professional development and personal growth are essential to me as I understand the challenges and triumphs of the journey. I eagerly look forward to helping you build bridges between where you are, and where you’d like to be.

I also provide tools Together, we will develop a plan and delve into the root of your concerns, empowering you to lead a healthy, vibrant, and meaningful life.

For Couples:

Why the name Ceres Counselling?

Ceres Counselling draws inspiration from the Roman Goddess “Ceres”, who symbolized the seasons, the harvest, and times of transition. Our lives mirror the changing seasons, transitioning through various chapters and experiencing different phases.

At Ceres Counselling, we strive to support individuals in navigating these transitions and building bridges between their current state and their desired future. My goal is to help foster acceptance and understanding throughout each person's unique journey, regardless of the paths they choose to explore or those they’ve walked upon.
